Vertigo 1.1.0.3
GWAVA Vertigo 1.1.0.3 has been be released. Current customers can get the update by using the 'Update' feature from the main menu or by just restarting Vertigo. The evaluation version will be available here. Most important story to tell upfront is that where earlier Vertigo versions required you to install the GroupWise 7.0.2 client, Vertigo 1.1.0.3 now requires the GroupWise 7.0.3 Win32 client which can be downloaded here. Let's go through a couple of release notes:
(Un)lock GroupWise user accounts
With the 1.1.0.3 version you're able to lock and unlock (Disable logins) GroupWise accounts under 'User Properties'. The 'Users' report, available when you click the GroupWise system object in the treeview, allows you to determine which accounts are 'locked' because a colum 'Disable login' has been added. E.g. by using the 'Filter' icon of every column, it's easy to determine which accounts are locked and which are not. Within the 'Users' report you're also able to select one or more multiple GroupWise accounts for which you want to apply updates. You can clear different properties, update properties but also expire and (un)lock accounts in a granular way.
Added the ability to launch both ConsoleOne and GWCheck from the main Button bar
One of the best comments we've got from you is that Vertigo is what ConsoleOne should be in the first place. Since Vertigo and ConsoleOne are complementary, we've provided an option where you can launch both from within Vertigo by using Vertigo's main button bar.
Added a ConsoleOne snapin to launch Vertigo from ConsoleOne’s main Button bar
Since love has to come from both sides, the new installer has an option to install a ConsoleOne snapin for Vertigo too. This snapin allows you to launch Vertigo from within ConsoleOne by providing an extra button on ConsoleOne's main button bar.
Added the ability to import a GWIA Accounting file by using Actions, GWIA Accounting
The Main menu has a new option under 'Actions, GWIA Accounting' which allows you to import a GWIA 'acct' file. After importing you have all features like in all other grids: filtering, grouping, printing and exporting (PDF, XLS, TXT and XPS). In the next version of Vertigo you will be able to select a folder of a GroupWise mailbox where you send the GWIA accounting messages to.
Added the ability to move items from the Junk Mail folder back to the Mailbox folder
Apart from detecting which email messages reside in one's Junk Mail folder, you're now also able to move them back to the 'Mailbox' folder or just delete them. Both in Single as well as Multi User mode.
Changed Junk Mail Lists listviews to grids; Printing, Filtering and Exporting features added
The Junk Mail lists (Junk, Block and Trust) have been changed to grids which brings in all the features all other grids have: filtering, printing and exporting (PDF, XLS, TXT and XPS).
Several Rule related enhancements in Single User Mode
Rules are listed in sequence. We've added the ability to change the sequence too. To do so two new buttons ‘Move Up’ and ‘Move Down’ have been added. Rules can also be edited now, except for conditions and actions (which only can be deleted).
