This year for the first time at GWAVACon, the Novell GroupWise Collaboration Conference, GWAVA will be offering a Bonus day on the Saturday, January 26th, before the event starts.

This bonus day costs an extra $695 USD. It is a day set aside to focus on learning a particular topic in great depth. GWAVA is offering two different tracks on this day. Track one is on Linux^{Wikipedia.">Wikipedia." class="glossary-indicator">i} and track two is on GWAVA.

Track #1 is called a Linux Deep Dive. It is divided into two sections. The morning session is being taught by Novell's strategic Linux Training Partner, Switchdesk. They taught a 2 hour session last year at GWAVACon Dallas. It was the most popular session of the entire conference. This year they will be doing a morning session on Saturday that is several hours of focus on learning the fundamentals of Linux management.

The afternoon portion of this session is a focus on GroupWise on Linux and will be taught by Danita Zanre, the leading expert in the world on GroupWise Linux deployments. Danita will build on the morning session and expand the teaching to learning what is important about running GroupWise on Linux.

This track is an opportunity for attendees to come in a day early and spend some quality time focused on learning about Linux and GroupWise without worrying that they are missing other great content that is happening at the conference.

The #2 track is the GWAVA training and Certification Testing. Normally GWAVACon has a track for GWAVA Certification training but attendees must pay for taking the test online afterwards. In addition, this training last for an entire day, making it a difficult decision on which tracks to attend during the normal conference. By adding the certification training and testing on the Bonus day, attendees are able to attend, train, and test all for a single price...and as a bonus they then won't need to miss out on the great content of the conference for the next three days.
