Last week, GWAVACon Dallas (www.gwavacon.com) surpassed the 150 free passes for this years event. Now, thanks to a sponsorship by RIM/Blackberry, 200 additional passes have been made available free of charge.

This brings the total of free passes to 350.

"This year we wanted to make the extensive GroupWise training available to as many people as possible," says Charles Taite, CTO of GWAVA. "Other vendors, including Novell, now recognize the tremendous value that GWAVACon brings to anyone using Novell GroupWise within their organization. We couldn't be more pleased with the response from delegates and vendors like RIM/Blackberry."

This year, total registration is expected to surpass the 350 mark before the end of the year. "We always see a large spike in registration during the last few weeks leading up to the event." Says Richard Bliss, VP of Marketing for GWAVA. "This year registration numbers have already exceeded total numbers from last year. We expect the numbers to keep going up with announcements like the RIM/Blackberry sponsorship and John Dragoon, Novell's Chief Marketing Officer, being the keynote speaker"

GWAVACon is successful around the world because it focuses on delivering high quality training concerning all things GroupWise. This is not a GWAVA conferenc, it is a GoupWise conference called GWAVACon.

Past years have seen sessions on clustering, multi-client installs, Linux deployment, custom development for the GroupWise client, mobility from Blackberry, Nokia, Notify, and Omni. This year will be the same amount of high demand GroupWise training that people have come to expect.

If you would like to come to GWAVACon Dallas this year you can register at www.gwavacon.com.

Hurry before space runs out.
