While installing GroupWise on Linux, there is no option to extend the eDirectory Schema. Follow the steps listed below (outlined in TID 10096826) to extend the eDirectory Schema for GroupWise using ConsoleOne

1. Open ConsoleOne with GroupWise snapins on Linux
2. Click Tools | GroupWise Utilities | Check eDirectory Schema

If this option is grayed out, then eDirectory Schema has already been extended

Where to get Groupwise Snapin for Linux?

I still can't seem to find it anywhere. Getting ConsoleOne to work from my Linux computer would be one step closer to moving myself to an All-Linux desktop environment. I have tried to grab the one from Windows, but it barfs on my machine looking for some windows DLL file... Java isn't supposed to be like that and yet..?

can be reached at daniel(dot)hauck(at)dallasobserver(dot)com.

You can be found it in the GroupWise for Linux install cd. Or, you can download an evaluation version, and extract it. The snapin isn't eval :).

But please be carefully. The GW snapin is installs .so* files to /usr/ConsoleOne/bin, and it will cause error. move them to /usr/ConsoleOne/usr/lib. The libs will be available for c1.
